We Celebrate Girls’ Day!
Growing up in Hawai’i and being an Asian American female - Girls’ Day was always celebrated in our household. My sister and I would get dolls and all types of delicious treats every year. Mom would make her legendary mochi and layered jello for friends and family.
For Girls’ Day the spotlight was on us and sometimes we got dressed up or had a special meal. It was a day we always looked forward to. Nowadays all the attention has shifted to the grandkids so mom usually sends lots of presents out to keep the tradition going!
I’m so lucky to live so close to my parents…this morning dad walked over to hand deliver my goodies. No matter what, I’m just their little girl!
We’ve been thinking about how to celebrate with you and we want to offer 20% off our entire Aloha Collection on March 3rd!
Happy Girls’ Day!

Deep beneath Na Mokulua is a beautiful mystery. She is hidden in the sky and floating beneath the islands in Lanikai. Growing up in Kailua I would imagine a mermaid as the outline of these iconic islands. Here is the magical world of our Local Mermaid.
