Fourth of July Parade
We did it!
One of our goals this year was to be a part of the 4th of July Parade in Kailua. If you live here, you may know this is one of the biggest events for the community. Everyone comes out to watch the parade go by! As a small business owner from 96734, I thought how fun it would be to actually have our boutique represented. It’s been 3 long years since the last parade and we just wanted to be a part of the community coming together again.
Under the Sea!
Big mahalo to Erin who volunteered her truck to be decorated and to drive us down to Kailua Intermediate. Our wonderful window dresser, Naomi Lee and her assistant Lydia worked quickly to bring our ideas to life. We knew we wanted an ocean inspired theme and they worked together to decorate our float with starfish and marine life. Much appreciation to Roxanne for bedazzling our mermaid’s tail and top. Thank you to our real-life mermaid, Haley for waving her tail to all the keiki! She made the perfect Miss Classic Waves! Thank you to Heleloa Media for the video of the parade!
Jelly Fish
Big shout out to our CWB ohana (Haley, Gabby, and Sejah) who helped pass out fans to the crowd. One lucky guest won a $250 gift card for entering our giveaway by scanning the QR code on the back of the fan! Congratulations to our winner, Sandra!
We hope to see you again next year!

Deep beneath Na Mokulua is a beautiful mystery. She is hidden in the sky and floating beneath the islands in Lanikai. Growing up in Kailua I would imagine a mermaid as the outline of these iconic islands. Here is the magical world of our Local Mermaid.
